I have like 5 exes but there’s one named Derrick who felt the most connected to me. There’s something I noticed when we were in high school. We still are but after I explain everything, tell me if it seems like I’m the only one who loved him the most and loved him for him, not for his appearance. And don’t tell me to get over him please, I already know that. It’s hard and taking half a year so far but I’m still trying. I was with him for 7 months and 3 by the way, and everyone else lasted shorter. I was with him two times total.
Anyways, 1st time I was with him, he was short for his age, his brown hair was also short which made him look almost bald, he had no muscle and was scrawny, his voice wasn’t deep, he had no tattoos piercings or cool jewelry guys wear. He wore casual clothes, not skin tight clothes made of leather, he had glasses, and he wore normal shoes. I still was happy to be with him though and had very strong emotions for him. Also, no other girl chased after him during this time.
2nd time I was with him, he was much taller, had thicker and longer/more hair, had biceps and had tattoos. Derrick also got rid of his glasses, his voice deepened dramatically, and he wore giant boots along with cool leather clothing. After he broke up with me during this time, suddenly tons of girls chased after him (even when I was with him this 2nd time). So many wanted to date him, and I still loved him as much as I did the 1st time (when he was completely different). When he eventually dumped these crazy girls, I found out they quickly moved on while I rejected other guys who asked me out. I thought about Derrick everyday and cried everyday, struggling to get over him. Anyways, all I wanna know is after everything I explained, does it seem like I’m the one who REALLY loved him and loved him for him? Does it seem like all the other girls only wanted him for his “sexy” appearence and popularity?
